When are my voting rights taken away?

The only time you are not allowed to vote is if you are currently imprisoned.

 


Under what conditions can I vote?

YOU CAN VOTE IF: 

• You are in county jail serving a misdemeanor sentence.

• You are in jail as a condition of probation.

• You are currently on probation, mandatory supervision, or post-release community supervision.

• You are on parole.
