Registrar of Voters promotes voter registration with Secretary of State
2016 Presidential General Election
2016 Presidential General Election

September 23, 2016 - On Tuesday, September 27th, Registrar of Voters Neal Kelley will appear with California Secretary of State Alex Padilla at Cal State Fullerton to promote voter registration.

In 2008, 6 million Americans didn't vote because they missed a registration deadline or didn't know how to register. In 2016, we want to make sure no one is left out - on September 27, 2016, volunteers, celebrities, and organizations from all over the country will "hit the streets" for National Voter Registration Day.

18-24 year old citizens have been registering in record numbers, but they are not turning out to cast ballots in the same numbers. This event will be focused on not only registering voters, but motivating young people to turn out and vote.

The Registrar of Voters is co-sponsoring a concert on campus by the local band Ceasefire – stop by our booth to register to vote, learn about the upcoming election, or volunteer. Make sure your voice is heard!

The concert and event will be located on the campus of Cal State Fullerton at 800 North State College Blvd., Fullerton (in the campus dining center area).
