Orange County's Voting Tip of the Day: If you're in line by 8:00 p.m. on Election Night you will vote!

November 6, 2016 - We have been talking about all of the options to vote early in advance of Election Day - and we hope you're considering voting today or tomorrow if you want to avoid Election Day rushes. But if you do plan to vote on Election Day here's something to keep in mind. If you're running short on time remember that all polling places are open until 8:00 p.m. So this means that if you are in line, even if that means you're just jumping in line at 7:59 p.m., you will be guaranteed to vote - regardless of the length of the line. There are nearly 1,100 polling places throughout Orange County and like anything else in life - banking, traveling, shopping, etc. - peak demands can put additional strain on available resources, which can mean brief waits.
