2023 City of Seal Beach Districts 3 and 5 Municipal Run-Off Election

As a result of the November 8, 2022 General Election, a majority (50% plus 1) of votes in the contests for Councilmember, District 3 and Councilmember, District 5 were not cast for any candidate. Therefore, pursuant to Seal Beach Charter § 502 and 509, and Municipal Code § 2.05.020, on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, an all mailed ballot Run-Off Election shall be held for Councilmember, District 3 and Councilmember, District 5. The names on the ballot shall be the two candidates receiving the highest votes in each contest – Councilmember, District 3: Lisa Landau and Stephanie Wade; Councilmember, District 5: Mariann Klinger and Nathan Steele.

Options for Voters with Disabilities
Voters with disabilities can download an electronic ballot to their computer and mark it using their own assistive technology and then print. Voters should follow the return instructions included with the electronic ballot. To request a Remote Accessible Vote-by-Mail ballot voters can:

Voters who need assistance marking their ballot may also visit the Registrar of Voters’ Office in Santa Ana to use an accessible ballot marking device. Additional services provided at the Registrar of Voters include: voter registration, replacement ballots, conditional voter registration, and provisional ballots.
