What Can You Do at a Vote Center?
What Can You Do at a Vote Center?

Open four or 11 days, Vote Centers are one-stop locations for all things voting.

Vote Centers allow you to not only vote, but to solve voter registration issues, register to vote, get a replacement ballot, and receive general assistance. You can visit any of our Vote Centers throughout the county – pick the one that is most convenient to you, whether it’s one close to where you live, work, shop, or play.

Mark your Vote-By-Mail ballot at home and drop it off at a Vote Center. Pick one of the locations with a drive-thru ballot drop off if you don’t want to get out of your car.

You can also walk into one to drop off the Vote-By-Mail ballot you’ve already marked in the signed return envelope, or check in to sign the roster to vote an in-person ballot. You can either feed the ballot you marked at home through a ballot scanner without the envelope or receive a new in-person ballot to mark in a voting booth before you cast it.

All Vote Centers in Orange County are ADA accessible and have ample parking. They feature the following resources for voters with disabilities:

  • Accessible voting equipment to mark your ballot
  • American Sign Language interpreter via video conferencing
  • Curbside voting with a paper ballot
  • Additional assistance upon request
  • Voters that are unable to mark a ballot may bring up to two individuals to assist in voting

Language assistance is available at all Vote Centers as well. Translated reference ballots in Farsi, Japanese, Tagalog, Hmong, Indonesian, Khmer, Nepali, and Punjabi for eligible precincts will be available at all Vote Centers. All election information and ballots are translated into Chinese, Korean, Spanish, and Vietnamese.

For more information and to find a Vote Center near you, visit ocvote.gov/votecenter.

The locations are vetted to meet accessibility guidelines, and ROV’s mobile unit is equipped with a wheelchair lift, accessible ballot marking devices, and ballot scanners.

Accessibility and language services available at Vote Center locations include:
