Videocast of Registrar of Voters MyBallot Program
to be Broadcast Live  


Santa Ana, CA May 21, 2008 –  In a first the Orange County Registrar of Voters office will be broadcasting a live videocast of tomorrow's outreach event featuring Secretary of State Debra Bowen.  

 

The state's chief election official is a recent recipient of the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation “Profile in Courage Award”.  Secretary Bowen will be making a personal appearance and speaking about the Orange County Registrar of Voters' new MyBallot student election program, in addition to youth involvement in elections.

 

The event will be broadcast live from Segerstrom High School in Santa Ana and may be viewed on the Registrar of Voters’ website at www.ocvote.com. The event will begin at 1:00 p.m. and will last for approximately 30 minutes.
