Ana, CA May 22, 2008 – The
Orange County Registrar of Voters is inviting voters to join
the growing number of Permanent Vote-by-Mail voters in the County
of
Orange. The deadline to request a Vote-by-Mail ballot, whether you
wish to receive one permanently or just this election, is
Tuesday, May 27, 2008.
The
County
of
Orange
is approaching 35% of registered voters requesting
Vote-by-Mail ballots either permanently or one-time. Vote-by-mail
voters are provided flexibility when they vote.
Vote-by-mail votes received prior to Election Day are
processed prior to Election Day and are the first results
reported on Election Night.
"We
encourage voters to vote with the option of their choice,
including vote-by-mail, early voting or at the poll
site," said Neal Kelley, Registrar of Voters.
