» Longtime Poll Worker Killed in Tragic Car Wreck
Brandt Stele, of Laguna Woods, was dedicated to volunteering for elections.  Stele, his wife Judith and their friend Faith Kanter were killed when the car they were riding in crossed a highway median on Interstate 40 in Tennessee on December 26th.  Mr. Stele volunteered for 5 elections in addition to working as a roving poll site coordinator.  He had volunteered for the upcoming February election.  Our thoughts are with the Stele's family and friends.
