Friends and Family Can Volunteer!

We are still in need of Inspectors and Clerks for this election. Areas with the most need include Huntington Beach, Irvine and Newport Beach. One of the best tools for recruiting new volunteers is asking current volunteers if they have any friends and family that would be interested in volunteering. For example, are you involved at a church or in youth sports (coach or referee)? Please have your friends call 714-954-1901 to be signed up today.

Hands-On Inspector Training

Inspector training for the June Primary has an all new format. We tested a hands-on approach to Inspector training for the Mission Viejo Recall Election in February. It was well received and resulted in fewer errors on Election Day. Over 1,100 Inspectors and 100 A-Team members will experience the new training. As with all training for Orange County elections we are constantly working to improve the classes and the results obtained from these classes.

Poll Worker Practice Sessions Coming Up

As we do with each election, we are offering Poll Worker Practice sessions throughout the County prior to Election Day. Poll Worker Practice allows you to receive hands-on instruction at a more casual pace. Trainers are on hand to go over any questions that you may have during your visit. We recommend that all poll workers, experienced and new, participate in this popular program. Please visit www.ocvote.com/training for a list of locations, dates and times.
